The catalyst for creating Wonder Women came about when Aliya Hallim-Byne and Yoanne Al-Hassani Magris met in the Summer of 2010.  Yoanne, a well respected chef, catered an event that Aliya was hosting for a women’s arm of an organization that she led at the time. Everything happened quite quickly after that as both women had much in common.  Yoanne moved on in early 2011 to focus on her career as a chef. See video below!
