Wonder Women Ambassador

Chi Yvonne Leina is  freelance journalist from Cameroon now based in Brooklyn New York.She specializes in reporting about women.Her reports are featured on the Global Press Institute,World Pulse and The Media Project.She has a seven years experience in journalism and spent four years as a news presenter and reporter for Equinoxe Television, a leading private TV station in Cameroon

Leina is the founder of Gender Danger, a non-profit organization for female citizen journalists and victims of gender based violence in Africa which encourages and empowers grassroots women in Africa to report on issues that plague the lives of women and girls in their communities.

Gender Danger initiates, encourages and promotes campaigns in local schools, churches, and the media to discourage unhealthy and painful practices such as breast ironing.

GenderDanger is at the Center of news and information about women as an endangered gender in Africa.

Leina is married and is a mother of two.
